Burst Photo Booths

The story of how Burst Photo Booths came to be, from purchasing the trailers to the nitty gritty of getting them on the road.

New Build: Rue, Open Air Booth

Though we LOVE the mirrorscope of our current booth setup, we've had this idea in mind for an open air booth - a large version of a Kodak Brownie twin lens reflex camera! My brother has been amazing - helping me (aka building) this out of a box I found on Facebook Marketplace. It's incredible how many pieces and parts there are to this build - not only do we need to make it look right, we also need to make it functional. As you know with any photography project, it's all about parts. Making all these parts fit together and work correctly has been nothing short of a challenge.

It's looking SO GOOD...however...

We walked through this so many times...so.many.times......and we still didn't catch something pretty significant. The computer will be housed in the top portion but because the box is so large, the computer is going to be really, really high in the air. Not everyone has long arms like us... Soooooo, with that little hiccup, we're moving forward as it is and the attendant will start the sessions (which we usually do anyway!) We do have a solution: we'll be adding a cool start button for all guests.

Tip of the day: when you use a photo booth, always look into the camera, not the computer screen!
